Anastasias and Chris’s wedding day finally arrived and what an energetic couple they were. The day was stress free, stunning but the weather was cold. But their family and friends had such a love for the day that i don’t think that anyone really cared. The ceremony was held at St. Catherine’s Greek Orthodox Church in Astoria, and the reception for the festivities at Leonard’s of Great Neck. Oh let’s not forget about Bravo Sounds that provided the entertainment for the night.

In closing off the last wedding of the 2007 season, I had the opportunity in shooting Elaine and Tom’s wedding. Now this wasn’t your usual huge Greek wedding but rather a smaller but yet extremely elegant affair. Now that we are 2008 my first wedding will be in February so until then i will share some specials moments from this years baptisms in the next couple of posts. Until then, keep it real.

On the coldest day thus far, I had the opportunity to shoot the wedding of the uber cool couple Eirini and Irakli. Their wedding ceremony was once again held at The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St. Paul in Hempsted. And when it was time to get down and wiggle it we had a cool time over at the North Ritz Club in Long Island.
Well now we can’t forget about the Jimmy Choo’s
My clients love me so much, that they even order pastries with my initials on them.
And yes, we want some cake……
Ok I’m finally getting around to post some images from Katerina and Michael’s wedding, I know its long over do but I’m catching up. This elagent affair was held in the Skylight room at the Sandcastle in Long Island and the ceremony was held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St Paul in Hepmstead NY. So without me yapping that much let’s get to the pictures.

Wow what an amazing year it has been and by the looks of it next year will be even better. I still have to blog about a few more weddings by the end of this year so hopefully I can finish the edits and post them up.
As this holiday season is fast approaching us I have decided to limit the number of appointments I will be making before the end of the year, for those that are still sitting on the fence now is the time to call me.
As of December 10, 2007 I will not be making any new appointments until January 7, 2008. Sorry folks but I need some me time, and most of all to spend a relaxing holiday season with my family.
I still have a few remaining dates available for 2008 so if you haven’t decided yet, well that is bad, make it quick. As of today I still haven’t open my 2009 calendar yet so all dates are still available so keep an eye on my blog to find out when I will be accepting 2009 weddings. I’ll give you all a hint are you ready, roses, chocolates and hearts oh my….
So what happens when you mix a very hot looking couple an adorable little puppy called Hopscotch and a chub rock photographer? One rocking engagement session that’s what. Guys I had a blast and that Hopscotch is a babe magnet. You guys were real sport on this chiily day, i caint wait until i shoot your wedding next year.

Occasionally I have this wonderful opportunity to photograph and capture the special moments that occur at ones engagement party, I had this opportunity at Anastasia’s and Apostoli’s event. I had a wonderful time photographing this event and getting to meet most people that will be attending their wedding. Guys until then keep it real. So now lets get to the pictures, here are some of my favorites.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
Christos

As always I try to capture those special and emotional moments.

Hi guys, congratulations on your wedding I had one hell of a time. So this time around with the images I think I’ll try something different.Christos

 Â
This time around with Anastasia and Chris we decided on an attempt to capture a LIC fall sunset. So after hanging around and taking some real casual engagement portraits in Astoria, the lighting was just about right. And man it doesn’t  last long. Guys your wedding is fast approaching and before your know it those stefana will be placed on your heads and I will be there to capture it all.
Keep it Real

Effie’s and Pantelis wedding finally came around and what a rocking affair it was. The wedding was held at St. Catherine and St George in Astoria. The reception was held at Chateau Briand and the entertainment for the nights festivities was provided by Bravo Sounds. Guys I had a wonderful time at your wedding and thank you for inviting me into your family.

I finally got around to completing a few images for the blog from my first destination wedding in Canada. What can I say it was a real adventure and I had a blast. We started of with the guys this time around since I stayed at the same hotel as they were in. The guys were real troopers for a 9:30AM start time, mind you the wedding ceremony was at 4PM. I later found out that they got undressed and spent the remainder of the morning and early afternoon at the hotel pool.
If you ever plan on going to Canada you have to check out and stay at this rocking hotel Novotel Montréal Aéroport. After I finished the guys it was a very fast drive to the bride’s house. A special thanks goes out to the videographer Marcello from Pacifica that was kind enough to chauffeur me around the entire day.

Now I also photograph more traditional bridal party portraits for the couples families but the brides and grooms want something cooler for themselves.
So here we go a relaxed bridal party portrait with attitude.

When i think of it and as the day progresses i truly enjoy capturing emotional moments. I feel that the father and daughter dance is my favorite part of the wedding.

All I can say is WOW what an awesome wedding this was. I had a hard time selecting the images for the blog on this one. Since I had a hard time I ended up putting close to 50 images from this weeding on my new yummy website under Gallery 1, so why don’t ya head on over and check out Christos yummy website and some fun images from this wedding.
This wedding was held at Floral Terrace in Floral Park. The music was provided by non other then Power Station Orchestra and singing was the man Yanni Papastefanou. Ok enough with that let’s get to some pictures.
My favorite picture is the first one, This image was captured the moment after the brides dad put her shoes on. The emotions in this image are unreal filled with tears of joy.

I love this image as well, only these two people in the world could only know what is running through their minds at this very moment.

Maybe one day I will post images only in color, NOT i love my yummy black and white wedding images.
See ya folks
