My not so big Greek wedding

I had a wonderful opportunity to photograph Christina’s and George’s wedding. They were such a fun couple to work with and photograph. Not only that but they “got” what my style of photography is all about. Now of course I did all the traditional portraits, but they just let me do what I do best.
This was a “Politico Gamo” here in New York and they will be getting married in Greece this coming July. Sorry guys but as we discussed I have a wedding the next day.
The wedding has held at the beautiful Sand Castle in Long Island New York. The music for the night’s festivities was performed by the Acoustics Greek and Americas orchestra.

And now let’s not forget Harris from the Acoustics

What has Christos been up to

Well since we are in the off season for wedding photographers, and especially since I specialize in Greek weddings which are starting for me in April. I have to keep my love for shooting alive. I shoot a lot of Christenings and sweet sixteen’s scheduling permitting.
Last week I had the pleasure to shoot Joanna’s sweet sixteen. It was a slamming affair and I had a cool time. I only wish I had more time to photograph Joanna some more, she just looked stunning.
Music was provided be a long time friend of mine, DJ Sava from Mylos Entertainment. Joanna’s reception was held at the Water’s Edge in Queens.
So Joanna here is a couple of teaser shots while we are waiting for your proofs.

Christos

Happy New Year everybody.

Well it’s been a few days and I haven’t posted on my blog. Shame on me. But I promise for 2007 I’ll blog more often for you. So let me take this time to wish all my family, friends and customers a Happy and Healthy New Year.

2007 is going to be an exiting year here for many of my brides, especially with the introduction of the online slideshow that everyone will be getting one.

Now one hot topic on wedding photography forums is the date 7/7/07 and seeing who has the date booked and open. Boy I would have to say that a good 50% of photographers have this date available. And guess what so do I, so if you are interested or still looking for a wedding photographer that has 7/7/07 open give me a hoot ya hear.
